THIS is the oil you should use on any vintage Hammond Organ with electric motors and a tone generator. Whatever you do, DO NOT SUBSTITUTE ANY OLD OIL FOR THE REAL THING. Typically, all that is necessary is 1/2 ounce of oil per year, making this 4 ounce bottle an eight year supply! If your organ has not been oiled in several years, expect it to accept more than 1/2 ounce. Do not over-oil the vibrato scanner (the round canister). Rather than fill the cup on the scanner, simply fully saturate the wick.
